Connecting Lowrance Fishfinder

I have a 2005 Honda 50hp and am installing a new Lowrance hds-5x fishfinder.
I have no idea where to connect the black/red and yellow accessory wires. I notice on the tach boat wiring harness there are open connection. I was wondering if I could connect to those wires and which ones, or do I have to go right to the battery?

I would recommend going straight to the battery or fuse panel. Make sure you install circuit protection as close as possible to the battery.
